Option Steps
From the text file 1. Reset the switch to factory default:
switch (config) # reset factory
keep-basic
2. Apply the text-based configuration file:
switch (config) # configuration
text file my-filename apply
3. Upload a text-based configuration file from the
switch to an external server as shown in the
following example:
switch (config) #
switch (config) # configuration
text file my-filename upload
scp://root@my-
server/root/tmp/my-filename
A reboot is not required when
you apply the text file.
Complete the replacement
Perform the steps to complete the replacement procedure.
Steps
1. Insert the cables by using the labels to guide you.
2. Run NetApp Config Advisor. Access the Quick Start Guide from here (login required).
3. Verify your storage environment.
4. Return the faulty switch to NetApp.
