Connecting the DS-L4 to a LAN via a wireless access point
Before connecting to the network
Before connecting the DS-L4 to a network, configure the necessary network settings according to the configuration of
the network. Consult the network administrator of your organization for details.
Connect a network drive using wired LAN
To save images to a network drive, be sure to connect the network drive and the DS-L4 via wired LAN.
The following explains how to connect the DS-L4 to your network (LAN) via an access point.
Connecting the DS-L4 to a LAN via a wireless access point
Use DS-L4 Administration Tool to specify the settings. For details, refer to "13.6.2 Specifying the Network Settings" and
"13.6.3 Specifying Wireless LAN Settings".
Wireless LAN access point
 Use a commercially available wireless LAN access point device that is conformable to the radio law in the
region where the device is used.
 The DS-L4 supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n. Use an access point device that supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n.
