Step 4. If you are installing multiple switches, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each switch.

3.2.3 Wall Mounting
Before starting this procedure, ensure you have the following:
• two #8 x 2.5 in. or longer screws for hanging the switch on the wall
• A screwdriver or drill appropriate for the wall-mounting screws
• an available grounding point near the installation location
To wall-mount the 7210 SAS-D:
Step 1. Measure the distance between the two wall mounting screw guides located
on the bottom of the chassis.
Step 2. Secure the two wall mounting screws to the desired location on the wall, as
shown in Figure 13. Ensure that there is at least 0.19 in. (0.46 cm) of space
between the wall and the mounting screw head.
Note:
• Before you begin, verify that a wall-mounted switch can be anchored securely at or
below eye level to the selected wall. Ensure that the mounting screws will engage as
many wall studs as possible.
• For wall mounting, the standard maximum ambient air temperature is limited to 95°F
(35°C) and the ETR maximum temperature is limited to 131°F (55°C). Wall mounting is
not supported when using the external power supply.
