Beware of viruses. Install into the Nokia
9000 Communicator only software you have ob-
tained from sources which offer adequate pro-

WWW settings
To enter the WWW Settings view, press the
Set-

command button in the WWW main view.
Select a setting and press

E-mail address is defined in Mail application’s
Remote mailbox settings.
Proxy settings
– Proxy settings allows you to use
a proxy (a brief description of the proxy is includ-
ed in the section “Internet: Internet glossary”).
The HTTP proxy server name and Proxy port have
to be defined before using the proxy.

selected Internet Access Point.
HTTP Proxy
– The hostname of the HTTP proxy
server.
Proxy port
– The port number that the proxy
server uses.

– You may define domains for
which the proxy must not be used. Domain
names are delimited by commas (for example,
nokia.com,edu.fi
). You may specify the do-
mains as accurately as you wish.

trieved from the cache without making a new
data call.
