Dispenser settings and dispensing parameters can be entered manually using the keypad and buttons on the front
of the Ultimus V dispenser or, alternatively, by using the RS-232 remote communication capability of the dispenser.
Refer to “Appendix B — RS-232 Protocol” on page39 for details.
NOTE: To facilitate setup, begin by setting the language in which data will be displayed. Refer to “Setting
Language” on page22.
The following examples show data being entered manually.
• Press the power switch to turn on the dispenser. The Main screen will be displayed and show all the dispensing
parameters. The first time the dispenser is powered up, all settings will be preset to zero.
