Off Aftertouch curve.
When this curve is
assigned to a zone, it will
not send MIDI Aftertouch
data.
• VERY SOFT
Very light response
curve, which allows high
Aftertouch values to be
reached even with
minimum pressures on
the keyboard keys.
• SOFT
This curve maintains a
high level of readiness to
emit high MIDI Aftertouch
values; however, it is
easier to control than the
previous curve.
• MEDIUM SOFT
A soft curve which allows
greater expressiveness
in control of the
parameter associated to
the Aftertouch, while
maintaining the chara-
cteristics of the Soft
curve family.
• FEEL SOFT
Although still belonging
to the Soft curve family,
the Feel type is a linear
curve, made softer in the
intermediate value
section.
• LINEAR
"1 to 1" conversion
curve, so that the
Aftertouch data picked
up by the system are
coded directly in MIDI
data, without any
correction by the curve.
• FEEL HARD
Linear curve made
"harder" in the interme-
diate pressure section.
• MEDIUM HARD
Although still providing
fairly linear conversion,
this curve offers more
expressiveness than its
predecessors, while
greater pressure is
required on the key to
reach MIDI Aftertouch
value 127.
