To test the interface connection turn the computer and the printer
on (POWER ON). Write the following test programme:
10 LPRINT “Everything’s okay”
20 LPRINT “1/6 inch line spacing”
30 LPRINT CHR$ (12);: REM Line Feed
Type RUN and press the Return key. You will get the following
print-out.
Everything’s okay
1/6 inch line spacing
If everything is working properly you can start printing.
