Installing the cut
sheet feeder
1. Install the cut sheet feeder
with its mounting brackets
onto both ends of the platen
shaft so that it is firmly
seated.
2. Turn the platen knob so that
the gearwheel on the left end
of the sheet feeder engages
with the gearwheel of the
platen.
3. Close the printer cover.
4. Connect the cable of the cut
sheet feeder to the printer by
plugging it into the socket
provided to the left rear of
the printer. The arrow on the
plug shows the correct way
to plug it in.
