5.2 Soda Lime Kit
The Soda Lime Kit (D in Figure 3) is used for the CO2 Zero Reset procedure with ambient air (see paragraph
13.4.1). It consists of a Soda Lime filter (1 in Figure 6) generally used to remove CO2 from the ambient air.
The Soda Lime Kit must be connected to Tube-A to start the CO2 Zero Reset procedure using ambient air.
The clear connector (2 in Figure 6) of Soda Lime Kit has to be connected to the red connector of Tube-A (1 in
Figure 10).
Note ► The Soda Lime kit has to be replaced when the Soda Lime filter (1 in Figure 6) changes color turning
purple. Contact Okolab to purchase a new Soda Lime Kit.
Note ►Remove the protection cap from the Soda Lime filter before using the Soda Lime Kit.

5.3 Moisture Trap
The Moisture Trap (E in Figure 3) is used for humid gas measurements.
Figure 7 shows the Moisture Trap components:
1. A condensation trap allowing for the reduction of sampled gas temperature and the collection of
condensed water from the sampled gas (4 in Figure 7). The condensation trap top (3 in Figure 7)
allowing reducing the sampling gas time during the Single Point measurement must be removed when
Gas Logging occurs.
2. A Selemion Tube that reduces the relative humidity of sampled gases to a value lower than 40% (5 in
Figure 7).
The connector marked in green is the Gas Inlet port of the Moisture Trap (1 in Figure 7). Please use
Tube-B to connect the sampling Gas Port of the incubator to Gas Inlet port of the Moisture Trap.
The connector marked in red is the Gas Outlet port for the Moisture Trap (2 in Figure 7). Please use
the Tube-A to connect the Gas Outlet port of the Moisture Trap to the Gas Inlet port of LEO (see Configuration
b in Figure 46 for the measurements in Diffusion Mode or Configuration b in Figure 48 for the measurements
in Aspiration Mode).
