7. Additional 27MG Gaging Features
The 27MG Ultrasonic Thickness Gage has several additional convenient features. The
use of these features is not required for basic operation. However, they make the gage
a more versatile instrument.
The following additional features can be accessed directly from the keypad:
• Backlight
• Freeze
•Gain adjust
• Material gain sensitivity optimization
• Default gain restoration
Other features can be accessed in the setup mode. To access or change any of these
functions, press [2

F], [] (SETUP).
These features include the following functions:
• Inches/Millimeters conversion
•Resolution
•Min/Max
• Hold/Blank
•Measure Rate
•CAL Lock
•Beeper
•Inactive time
•Radix
• Backlight mode
