Chapter 3: Installing the Dictaphone EXV Olympus Uploader Application
Uploader, the date and time you connected, and the name of the
computer where you are running the application.
8. Connect the DS-4000 to the PC with the USB cable. The Found New
Hardware dialog appears. Please wait while the device is configured.
9. When the Olympus Uploader starts, you need to configure the provider.
In the Dictaphone DS-3000/DS-4000 Upload Utility dialog box, select File
> Configure Portable
.
Notes:
• Before configuring a provider, the provider must be properly set up
in the EXVoice system. Refer to Chapter 4, “Configuring EXVoice
for Using the DS-4000 Recorder” beginning on page 39.
• In addition, providers must be assigned to a recorder. Refer to
“Assigning or Reassigning a Recorder to a User” beginning on
page 52.
