Troubleshooting
Analog Output Unit
Kind of error Phenomenon Cause Remedy
Indicator The RDY indicator is not lit. 1. The Unit is not connected
properly.
2. No end cover is attached.
Refer to the CQM1H Operation
Manual (W363) or the CQM1
Operation Manual (W226) and
reset the Analog Output Unit.
Output
The output voltage or current
does not change when output
data changes.
The power supply cable is not
connected to the Analog Power
Supply Unit.
Connect the power supply
cable.
The output voltage or current
does not match the output
characteristics.
An external device with an
impedance not within the
permissible range is connected.
Check if the impedance of the
external device is within the
permissible range.
I/O Unit over The CPU has an I/O Unit over
error.
The total number of words used
by the Units connected exceeds
the maximum available words
of the CPU.
Each Analog Output Unit uses
two words. Check if the total
number of words is exceeding
the maximum available words
of the CPU.
