3 Operational Maintenance
3-7Eagle Operator Manual - OPEX Corp. Use Only - Not for Distribution
Power and electrical safety
The dust collection system is powered by 115VAC/60Hz. It draws about 3.5 amps on
the “High” setting. In normal operation (on the Eagle system) the H1000Vspeed dial
should be set between “Medium” and “High,” with the pointer set to approximately
the four o'clock position.
The system complies with UL Standard 507 and the CSA for electrical safety. Testing
was performed under OSHA Part 29, Codes 1910 and 1926 by Intertech Testing
Services, an accredited, nationally-recognized testing laboratory.
Maintenance
The only routine maintenance required is changing the filter. The Dust Collection
System has two filters, a “Ring Panel” filter and the “HEPA” filter. The front panel
includes a “Filter Change” indicator lamp to advise the operator when the Ring Panel
filter change is necessary. The HEPA filter should be changed every 7000 hours of
operation.
Ring Panel filter
Release the side clamp on the Dust Collection unit and swing the side open to access
the "Ring Panel" filter. Remove and replace the filter. Close and re-clamp the side
panel.
