Rejects
Reason Description
No Singulation
The singulator exit sensor (sensor 5 in the array) detected no gap
or a very small gap between the pieces in a pair.
Too Little Singulation
The lead edge to lead edge pitch between pieces in a pair was
measured at the MICR entry sensor and was smaller than the
MINIMUM GOOD SINGULATION PITCH machine parameter.
Too Much Singulation
The lead edge to lead edge pitch between pieces in a pair was
measured at the MICR entry sensor and was greater than the
MAXIMUM GOOD SINGULATION PITCH machine parameter.
Invalid Content Micr Report
The content MICR sent no report or more than one report for a
pair to the main control board.
Unknown MICR Profile
The content MICR could not recognize the profile of the magnetic
ink on the check in a pair.
MICR Found Two Statements
The content MICR found no MICR ink on either of the pieces in a
pair.
MICR Found Two Checks
The content MICR found valid MICR ink profiles on both pieces in
a pair.
Out Of Order
With windowed mail, the content MICR detected that the check
and the document in a pair were out of order.
Cannot Orient Document
With windowless mail, the content OCS was not able to
determine the orientation of the document in a pair.
Reverser Bypassed
The machine control system determined that the gap between
pieces in a pair was too small to allow the reverser to operate
properly. (This should only occur when two pieces in a row must
be reversed.)
Jamsorts
Accounts for pieces that were directed into the reject bin during a
jam condition.
