Specific Device Capabilities Page (HP LTO6 Bridged Tape Drive)
TABLE 4-18 shows the format of the Vendor Specific Device Capabilities Page (HP
LTO-6 Bridged Tape Drive).
Note – The Vendor Specific Device Capabilities page is only
supported when the bridged drive is an HP LTO-6 drive.

Vendor Specific Device Capabilities Page Definitions:
Peripheral Qualifier The library returns a value of:
• 000b = Indicating the specified peripheral device type is currently
connected to this logical unit.
• 001b = If the command is sent to an unsupported logical unit.
(b = binary notation)
Peripheral Device Type The library returns a value of:
• 8h = Indicates that the library is a medium changer device.
• 1Fh = If the command is sent to an unsupported logical unit.
Page Code The field is set to:
C8h = Identifies the page as the vendor specific device capabilities page.
Additional Page Length This field is set to 4h (4d) bytes.
