► Do not modify the settings established by the qualified personnel. Only the settings described in the section
“Use” in these instructions for use may be adjusted independently.
► In case of problems with the settings, please contact the qualified personnel who adjusted your product.
CAUTION
Screw connections not tightened
Pinching, crushing, tipping over, falling of user due to assembly errors
► After all adjusting/readjusting work authorised by the manufacturer, retighten the mounting screws/nuts firmly.
Observe any torque settings which may be specified.
6.2 Initial operation
The qualified personnel delivers the power wheelchair fully assembled and in operational condition.
The following additional tasks may be required:
• Only if needed: Assembling the frame and drive unit bracket (see Page45)
• Adjusting the settings (see next section)
• Installing the fuse (see Page18)
• Installing the battery pack (see Page31)
• Charging the battery (see Page33)
• Folding up the backrest (see Page21)
• Installing the side panels (see Page19)
• Installing the leg supports (see Page20)
6.3 Settings
6.3.1 Adjustments by qualified personnel
The seat height, seat width and seat angle have been preset in accordance with the customer order.
Changes to these basic settings may only be made by qualified personnel. Please see the service manual for fur
ther information.
All parts of the product should be cleaned thoroughly before adjustments are made.
The tools required for adjustments and maintenance tasks as well as the torque values for screw connections are
listed in the section "Appendices" (see Page58).
