with a piece of adhesive
tape.
3.
Insert the Back Tension Meter into the
path
of a
tape,
and
measure the back tension.

out of specification, replace the Tension spring.

<<NOTE>>
While
measuring, make sure that the three probes
of
the meter
are all in
good
contact with the tape.
As
the
tension meter is vel}' sensitive,
we
recommend taking 3
separate readings.
