p Extrem ely high tem peratures or low
tem peratures will shorten the life of the
battery.
p If the battery is kept in high-tem perature,
high-hum idity, or oily-sm oky places, the
terminals may rust and cause
malfunctions.
p
To store the battery for a long period of
time, we recom m end that you charge it
once every year and store it again after
you have com pletely used up the charged
capacity.
p Dust and other matter attached to the
battery terminals should be r
em oved.
Prepare spare batteries when going out
for re c o rd ing.
p Prepare batteries enough to last for 3 to 4
times the period you are planning to
record for. Cold places such as a ski resort
can shorten recording time.
If you drop the battery accidentally,
check to see if the term inals are
dam aged.
p Inserting a battery with dam aged terminals
can dam age the unit.
Do not throw old battery into fire .
p H eating a battery or throw ing it into a fire
may result in an explosion.
If the operat
ing time is very short even
after the battery has been recharged, the
battery has worn out. Please purchase a
new battery.
p If the tem perature of the battery is
extrem ely high or extrem ely low, charging
may take time or the battery may not be
charged.
p
If you use the AC adaptor near a radio,
radio reception may be disturbed. Keep
the AC adaptor 1m (3.3feet) or more
aw ay from the radio.
p When using the AC adaptor, it may
generate whirring sounds. However, this is
normal.
p After use,
be sure to disconnect the AC
adaptor. (If it is left connected, a minute
am ount of current is consum ed.)
p Always keep the electrodes of the AC
adaptor and battery clean.
