IRIS
AUTO IRIS [OFF, ON]
Set OFF/ON for auto iris adjustment.
OFF Do not adjust iris automatically.
ON Adjust iris automatically.
WINDOW SELECT [1 to 4]
Set the photometry range when [AUTO IRIS] is on.
Window images are as follows:
[1] [2] [3] [4]
PICTURE LEVEL [–50 to +50]
This menu item is selected to set the target picture level for automatic
exposure compensation.
This is enabled when any one of the following automatic exposure
compensation functions are set to [ON].
- When [AUTO IRIS] is set to [ON]
- When [AUTO SHUTTER] is set to [ON]
- When [AGC] is set to [ON]
PEAK RATIO [0 to 100]
Set the peak value and average value ratio of the photometry when
[AUTO IRIS] is on.
The larger the number in the setting value, the more there is a
reaction to the peak within the iris detection window.
The smaller the number in the setting value, the more there is a
reaction to the average value within the iris detection window.
AUTO IRIS CLOSE LIMIT [NORMAL, F8, F7, F5.6]
Set the control speed of the auto iris function.
NORMAL Moves up to the normal position (the vicinity of F9).
F8 The limit is in the vicinity of F8.
F7 The limit is in the vicinity of F7.
F5.6 The limit is in the vicinity of F5.6.
IRIS SPEED [1 to 3]
Set the control speed of the iris function.
1 Control the iris at a slow speed.
2 Control the iris at a normal speed.
3 Control the iris at a fast speed.
W/B BAL SETTING
ATW [OFF, ON]
Set the behavior of the auto tracking white balance function.
When set to [ON], the white balance is continuously and automatically
adjusted, with compensation done automatically even if the light
source and color temperature change.
WHITE BALANCE MODE
[AWB A, AWB B, 3200K, 5600K, VAR]
Set the white balance mode.
Select the mode when the coloring is not natural because of the
nature of the light source or other factors.
If the white color serving as the reference can be recognized, subjects
can be shot with natural coloring.
AWB A
AWB B
When [AWB A] or [AWB B] is selected and the white
balance is executed, the adjustment results obtained
are stored in the memory selected. When [AWB A] or
[AWB B] is then selected, the white balance stored in the
selected memory can be recalled.
3200K This is the white balance mode which is ideal when a
3200K halogen light is used as the light source.
5600K This is the white balance mode which is ideal when
5600K sunlight or fluorescent lighting is used as the light
source.
VAR You can specify a color temperature between 2000K to
15000K.
W.BAL VAR [2000K to 15000K]
You can specify a color temperature between 2000K to 15000K.
ATW SPEED [NORMAL, SLOW, FAST]
Set the control speed of the ATW function.
NORMAL Tracks at normal speed.
SLOW Tracks at a speed slower than [NORMAL].
FAST Tracks at a speed faster than [NORMAL].
ATW TARGET R [–10 to +10]
Make fine adjustments to the Rch output when converging with the
auto tracking white balance operation.
ATW TARGET B [–10 to +10]
Make fine adjustments to the Bch output when converging with the
auto tracking white balance operation.
SHOCKLESS WB SW [OFF, ON]
Set the control that either transitions instantly or transitions gradually
when [WHITE BALANCE MODE] is switched.
OFF Transitions instantly.
ON Transitions gradually.
SHOCKLESS WB SPEED [1 to 5]
Set the transition speed when [WHITE BALANCE MODE] is switched.
