2.9.1 Connection of Peripherals
BGM/MOH
The Hybrid IP-PBX provides Background Music and Music on Hold. Only 1 external music source (e.g., a
user-supplied radio) can be connected to the Hybrid IP-PBX.
CAUTION
• Wiring should be done carefully to prevent undue force being exerted on the plug. Otherwise,
sound may only be heard intermittently.
• An External Music Jack is an SELV port and should only be connected to an approved SELV
device.
Note
When the Hybrid IP-PBX and external music sources are not connected to the same earth, hum noise
may be induced into Background Music and Music on Hold.
