Soft Buttons and Soft Button Icons
By pressing a soft button (S1 to S4), you can access the function displayed directly above it.
In this manual, soft buttons are referred to by their corresponding icons.
In the example here, "Press
", "Press
", "Press
", or "Press
" would indicate
pressing S1, S2, S3, or S4 respectively.
The following is a list of commonly used soft buttons.
Icon
Description
Return to the previous screen.
Access the call log (Page 21).
Access the phonebook (Page 36).
Cancel the operation.
Erase the number or character to the left of the cursor (Page 21).
Search for a phonebook entry (Page 21).
End a call.
Save or confirm the information shown on the display, or enter into the next
screen.
Note
• You can also use the physical [ENTER] button to perform the same
operation as this soft button.
Display other available soft buttons.
Answer an incoming call (Page 20).
Reject an incoming call (Page 23).
Perform a blind transfer (Page 26).
Save the information shown on the display (Page 24, Page 36).
Make a call (Page 21).
Edit the information shown on the display (Page 24, Page 36).
Assign the preferred number to dial among multiple registered phone numbers in
the same phonebook entry when making a call using the phonebook (Page 36).
Access the Flexible button screen.
