Error messages
If the unit detects a problem, one of the following messages is shown on the display.
Display message Cause/solution
Networks were not
found.
L Move closer to the base unit, or move to the Wi-Fi
coverage area of the hotspot.
L Press {Retry} to search for networks again.
L Press {Options}. i Select “Add manually” or
“Preferred networks”.
Could not connect
to <SSID name>
L A network connection is failed.
L Press {OK} to search for networks again.
Your skype name and
password were not
recognized.
L The Skype name and password you enter are incorrect.
L Press {Retry} and enter the correct name and
password.
Sign in was not
successful.
L Check to see if your ISP is having network connection
issues in your area.
Network connection
lost.
L The handset has lost communication with the base unit
or hotspot.
L Move closer to the base unit, or move to the Wi-Fi
coverage area of the hotspot.
L Press {OK}. i Select “Find network”.
Please try again
later.
L An unexpected error has occurred.
L Press {OK} to return to Idle screen or the previous
screen.
Failed. Try again
later.
L Your authorization request has been failed.
L Press {OK} and try again.
Invalid password. L Your password is not within 4 – 20 characters.
L Enter your password again.
The Handset could
not register.
Please try again.
L Press {OK}. i Press and hold the Handset locator on
the base unit for 3 seconds again.
