Tuner section
O FM stereo Indicator (STEREO)
This indicator automatically illuminates when an FM stereo
broadcast is being received,
It will not illuminate if the FM mode selector is set to the monaural
mode.
(_) Band indicator (FM, AM)
This indicatorindicates the band selected by using the band
selector.
(_)Digital frequency/input display
This display shows the sound source selected by pressing one of
the input selectors. If the "tuner" input selector is pressed, there
will be a change to the frequency after the source is indicated.
(_)Quartz-lock indicator (QUAR'I-Z LOCK)
This indicatorilluminates when the tuneris preciselytuned to a
broadcaststation.
(_) Memory indicator ([_)
This indicator illuminates when the memorybuttonis pressed.
(_)Super bass indicator (BASS)
This indicator illuminates when the super bass functions
(_ Channel display
This display showsthe channelnumber selectedby one of the
preset-tuningbuttons.
®Tuning buttons (TUNING)
These buttons are used for tuning to the desired broadcast
station.
(_) Preset tuning buttons
These buttons are used to preset broadcast frequencies into the
memory of this unit, and are also pressed to recall the desired
preset stations. (See page 14_18.)
(_ Memory scan indicator (M. SCAN)
This indicatorilluminateswhen the memoryscanningisactivat-
ing,
(_ Memory scan button (MEMORY SCAN)
This buttoncan be used to locatea desired broadcast station;
each broadcaststationis selectedfor about four seconds.
@)Memory button (MEMORY)
This button is used when presetting broadcast station frequen-
cies to the memory. (See page 14,)
_) FM mode selector beat prevention button
(FM MODE/B.P)
This unit automatically switches to the stereo mode when a
stereo broadcast is received.
This selector is used to select the mode (stereo or monaural) of
FM broadcast signals. (See page 21.)
And this selector is used to reduce interference noise during
recording of an AM broadcast, (Refer to page 31,)
_) Band selectors (BAND)
These selectors are usedto select the band.
