If it is an online transaction, the terminal contacts the Host Processor for an
approval and delivers the message to ECR.
If it is an offline transaction, the terminal will store the information of the
transaction and deliver the message to ECR.
If the POS terminal failed to deliver the message to ECR, POS terminal will
generate a reversal automatically before next transaction.

Cardholder signs his/her
