Playback / Deleting

You can protect images from being accidentally erased. You also can
prevent protected images from being displayed.
1 In Playback mode, select the image to protect with the
four-way controller (45).
2 Press the Z button.
The Protect screen appears.
3 Select [Protect] with the four-way
controller (23).
4 Press the OK button.
1 Enter the Playback mode.
2 Press the Z button twice.
The Protect all screen appears.
3 Select [Protect] with the four-way controller (23).
4 Press the OK button.
Protecting Images from Deletion (Protect)
• Select [Unprotect] in step 3 to cancel the protect setting.
• The Z icon appears when playing back protected images.
Protecting All Images
Select [Unprotect] in step 3 to cancel the protect setting on all of the
images.
• Even protected images will be erased by formatting the SD
Memory Card / MultiMediaCard or internal memory.
• When an SD Memory Card / MultiMediaCard has been inserted,
only images saved on the card are protected.
