Camera Settings
Formatting will delete all the data on the SD Memory Card /
MultiMediaCard.
The internal memory is formatted when no card is inserted.
1 Select [Format] in the [B Set-up] menu.
2 Press the four-way controller (5).
The format screen appears.
The message on the right appears if there
is a protected image set to [Hide].
3 Select [Format] with the four-way
controller (2).
4 Press the OK button.
Formatting begins. When formatting is complete, the camera is ready
to take pictures.
Formatting Cards / Internal Memory
• Do not remove the card during SD Memory Card / MultiMediaCard
formatting. The card may be damaged and become unusable.
• Note that formatting will also delete protected images.
