Engine Description
The Perkins 5012C-E46TA Industrial Engines have
the following characteristics:
• Four stroke cycle
• Mechanically actuated, electronically controlled
fuel injection system
• Turbocharged
• Air to air charged cooled
Engine Specifications
Note: The front end of the engine is opposite the
flywheel end of the engine. The left and the right
sides of the engine are determined from the flywheel
end. Bank A cylinders are on the right-hand side of
the engine. Bank B cylinders are on the left-hand side
of the engine. The number 1 cylinder is the front
cylinder.
