The
code
function
allows
you to
lock
your
Pfaff
creative
2140.
Your
machines
basic
menu
will not
appear
until your
secu
rity code
has
been
entered
accurately.
Turn
on
the
machine
and
enter
your
code.
Confirm
your
selection
with
The code
must
have
at
least four
digits,
and
no
more than
eight.
The
asterisks
change
into
plus symbols
as
the
digits
are
entered.
Touch
the
Delete”
icon to
delete
the code
that
you
have
entered.
Touch
the “Change”
icon to
enter
a
new
code.
Stitch
settings

You
can specify
whether
altered
settings
are
to
be
discarded
when
exiting
the selected
stitch screen
(“Do
not
save”),
saved
(“Save
current
setting’)
or
saved
following
a
query
(“Save
after
query”).
Before
your
stitch
settings
can
be
saved,
you
must
sew
at
least one
stitch
with the
altered
settings.
“Do
not save”
is
the
standard
setting.
Thread
tension
Every
stitch has a
preset
thread
tension
that
you
can
alter
in
the
stitch
screen.
You
can
specify
whether
the
altered
setting
is
to
be
dis
carded
(‘Do
not
save”),
saved
(“Save
new
setting”)
or
saved
following
a
query
(“Save
after
query”).
Before
these
changes
can be
saved,
you
must
sew at
least
one
stitch
with these
settings.
“Do
not
save”
is
the
standard
setting.
