when “daylight saving” is “on” the real time clock would have been adjusted automatically for
winter and summer time when passing the critical moment in time (e.g. march 29, 2009, 02.00
o’clock: time will be set 1 hour later or October 25, 2009, 03.00 o’clock: time will be set 1 hour
earlier).
4.9 Auto Signal Switching and Detecting
There are two mechanisms need to be implemented:
2. Auto Detecting: The display should be able to search, detect and switch to the available
signal based on below priority:
DVI-D->VGA -> HDMI->Component->S-Video->Composite ->Card OPS
When this feature enables, press VIDEO SOURCE or MENU button on remote control can
pause this feature in order to do the next setting.
4.10 Intel OPS Behavior
1. There is one POWER button for Signage and OPS module on remote control.
2. When Signage is powered on by RC or RS232 command or web browser under OPS input
source, the OPS module should be also powered on automatically.
3. When Signage is powered off by RC or RS232 command or web browser under OPS input
source, the OPS module should be also power off automatically, but if the OPS module halts at
that time, Signage should have the time out mechanism to force the OPS module OFF!
4. When OPS module is plugged and powered on, if Signage is powered off by RC or RS232
command or web browser under other input sources, the DC 24V (or 12V~19V) for OPS module
cannot be off unless the OPS module is already OFF!
5. When OPS module is plugged and powered off under OPS input source, if user turns on OPS
module via LAN (WOL), Signage should also be waked up automatically.
6. Some alerts information (backlight, temperature, fan,...) should be sent to OPS module if
possible.
7. It should have the related OSD messages for the existing status of OPS module (unplugged,
plugged, power on, power off, power saving…).
OPS Processing:
PD in POWER OFF
State:
1. DC ON / AC ON
Check current input source.
A. Not in OPS:
Show "Card OPS is Turned Off" in OSD.
B. In OPS:
Turn on OPS automatically, then show "Card OPS is Turned On" in OSD.
