Spark plug
To service the spark plug the engine must be cold,
proceed as follows:
- Undo the knob located inside the rear boot and
remove the saddle.
- Remove the spark plug cap.
- Use the supplied spanner (with retaining rubber
ring) to remove the spark plug.
- Disconnect and remove the spark plug cable.
- Examine it carefully and replace it if the insulator
is chipped or cracked.
- Measure electrode gap with a thickness gauge
and, if necessary, adjust the gap by carefully bend-
ing the outer electrode forward or away.
- Make sure the sealing washer is in good condi-
tion.
- Fit the spark plug, screw it manually and lock it
to the prescribed torque with a spark plug spanner.
CAUTION
THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE REMOVED WHEN THE MO-
TOR IS COLD. THE SPARK PLUG MUST BE REPLACED
EVERY 12,000 KM. THE USE OF NON CONFORMING IGNI-
TION CONTROL UNITS OR SPARK PLUGS OTHER THAN
THOSE PRESCRIBED CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE EN-
GINE.

Hub oil
-Remove the oil cap «A».
- Unscrew the oil drainage cap "B" and drain out all the oil.
- Screw on the drainage plug and fill up the hub with oil (about 150 cc)
