8.14 API Clients
Under Configuration -> API Clients you can create appropriate connection settings for
automated access to device data via the HTTPS interface. A detailed description can be
found in the separate document “Operating manual PITreader REST API”.
8.15 Save and restore configuration
All the settings that have been made in the web application can be saved in a file. To do
this go to Maintenance -> Save in the web application and click on Save configuration.
If you have saved a configuration on the computer, then you can restore the configuration
by uploading the backup file in the web application. To do this go to Maintenance -> Re-
store and click on Restore configuration.
The backup contains the settings, the block list, the names of the device groups and the
user data configuration. TLS certificates, OPC UA certificates and coding identifiers are not
included in the backup and cannot be restored.
