Purging the Print Head
1. Be sure there is some material (paper, envelope, etc.) loaded in
the printer before you go to step 2.
2. To access the setup menu, press and hold the menu button for
four (4) seconds.
3. Press the + or - buttons to scroll through the setup menu options
until 3. Purge Print Head appears on the LCD panel.
4. Press the enter button to select this option.
5. To select Purge Print Head cycle, press enter when the "Purge
Print Head?" message displays.
6. Press the + button (YES) to enable this option. The printer will
display "Please wait...print head being purged".
7. Press the menu button to back out of the menu until printer
displays "OFF LINE". Then press the ON LINE button to enable
the printer.
