Mechanical Brake Lever Travel
Frequently inspect the brake
lever reserve. Firmly depress
the brake lever and measure the
clearance between the lever and
the brake block. This distance,
brake lever reserve (A), should
be no more than 3/4 (1.9 cm).
If brake lever reserve exceeds
this amount, see your dealer for
service.
Improper brake adjustment could result in brake failure and lead
to serious injury or death. See your dealer for brake service.
