Controls

Top Panel Overview

Details the Status Indicator, Knobs 1-4, pads, Bank, Full Level, Note Repeat, Setup, and Assignable Controls.

Quick Setup Mode

Allows customization of controller options via Quick Setup Mode. Pads act as toggle buttons for functions.

Note Repeat

Enables repeatedly triggering a sound at a specified rate by holding a pad. MIDI clock determines tempo.

Pad Modes

Allows selection of MIDI Drum, MIDI Keyboard, or Mardi Gras modes for pad behavior.

Pressure Type

Defines how pressure messages are sent: Off, CC, Aftertouch, or Channel Pressure.

Pressure Threshold

Sets the amount of pressure required after the initial strike to send a MIDI pressure message.

Strike Velocity

Adjusts pad responsiveness based on strike force: Soft, Medium, or Hard.

Internal MIDI Clock Tempo

Configures the tempo for the Internal MIDI Clock, allowing tap tempo or knob adjustment.

Panic

Disables all MIDI signals by pressing Pad 4 while holding the Setup button.

Advanced Studio One Integration

Song Setup Mode

Allows quick access to Instrument browser, preset selection, and track creation within Studio One.

Controlling Tempo

Functions as tap tempo control for Studio One sessions, with tempo adjustable via Pad 14 or Knob 2.

Event Controls

Enables navigation through events on the timeline using Left/Right buttons, with Shift for multiple events.

Navigating Tracks

Uses Up and Down buttons to navigate through the track list in Studio One.

Adding an Instrument

Opens the Instrument browser via Pad 13; Up/Down buttons navigate plug-in lists.

Set Loop

Allows setting timeline loop start/end points and positioning within the session.

Zooming

Focuses session on the loop area by pressing the Zoom button while Set Loop is active.

Insert Pattern

Inserts a Pattern part for the current track using Pad 9 (Duplicate). Shift+Set Loop creates loops.

Event Editor

Opens the Music Editor view in Studio One for editing notes, velocity, and pitch.

Adjusting Pitch

Uses Up/Down buttons to raise/lower pitch by half-step, or octave with Shift.

Nudging

Moves selected events/notes forward/backward in timeline using Nudge + Left/Right buttons.

Instrument Quick Controls

Provides quick access to Instrument Editor and presets via Show/Hide and Preset +/- buttons.

Impact XT Pad Focus

Focuses on the currently focused pad in Impact XT using Shift + Preset +/- for sample editing.

Pattern Editor

Enables editing of the Pattern Editor in Studio One, specifically for Impact XT.

Transport Controls

Controls Click, Record, Play, Loop, Stop, Return to Zero, Save Session, and Undo functions.

Zooming

Adjusts the current view horizontally or vertically by holding Zoom and using Navigation buttons.

Customizing Knobs

Allows mapping any Studio One parameter to the four ATOM controller knobs via right-click assignment.

MIDI Mapping

Configures pads on Bank 1 to send CC messages only, disabling Note On/Off.

Adjusting Brightness

Allows adjustment of LED brightness through three available options using the Bank button.
