3.5.7.4 Vector scope
Your IPC's Power Flow Analysis option includes a
sophisticated, real-time vector scope.
You can use this tool to
verify phase rotation, and to check the angles and balance of
voltages and currents.
The VectorScope extracts and analyzes the fundamental
voltages and currents, and their relative angles; harmonic voltages
and currents have no meaning on a display like this.
By choosing the appropriate options, you can adjust the graph
colors to minimize printer ink consumption, display the amplitude
and angle values with each vector, and set a fixed current full
scale (useful if the current is rapidly changing, and you don't want
the vector full-scale to change with it).
