PA Module (11)
This is a vertical plug-in module provided with a heavy duty heatsink which is secured to the
main frame by two M4 x M25mm 'Pozidriv' screws.
Two Class C stages, TR1, TR2, are modulated by the input from Module (17); the Class B
stage, TR3, operates as a linear amplifier to provide 6W to 8W (according to frequency) into a 508
load.
In order to counteract any modulation distortion, the PA output is sampled and detected by
the network C25, R9, D2 and R12 to feed back a correction voltage via 15R2, 9C7 and TF3 of the
Low Power Tx AF Module (9).
