AF Amplifier Module (4)
This vertical plug-in module consists of IC1, an integrated circuit Class B amplifier with
thermal shut down, and a discrete switching transistor TR1; in the absence of a received signal, the
action of TR1 disables I,C1 to mute the receiver (See Muting).
The limited and filtered audio signal is coupled to the input of IC1. After amplification, the
output of IC1 is connected to the loudspeaker via the mother board component 15C4.
This module is fitted with a heatsink secured to the main frame by 2 x M2,5 x 6mm 'Pozidriv'
screws.
