4.7.2 AUTO/MAN mode
The default operating mode is AUTO. The control unit automatically controls the
actuators based on the speed signal.
The manual mode is only applied in the following cases:
there is no speed signal (radar or wheel sensor not available or defective),
application of slug pellets or seeds (fine seeds).
Operating mode selection
1. Switch on the QUANTRON-A control unit.
2. Open the Machine settings > AUTO/MAN mode menu.
3. Select the required menu item.
4. Press the Enter key.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

eration is provided in chapter 5: Spreading operation with the QUANTRON-A
control unit, page 87.
AUTO km/h + AUTO kg: automatic operation with automatic mass flow con-
trol:
The AUTO km/h + AUTO kg operating mode continuously controls the fertiliser
quantity during spreading according to the forward speed and the fertiliser’s flow
behaviour. This optimises the metering of the fertiliser.
NOTICE
To ensure regular spreading of the spreading material in manual operating
mode, it is imperative to work with a constant forward speed.
