11. Connect the UP connector to the right tilt up coil via the installed boom sense adapter cable.
12. Connect the unlabeled RIGHT SOLENOID SENSE connector to the right tilt down coil via the installed
boom sense adapter cable.
Connect the Harness to the Boom Function Controls - Older
Hydraulic Valves (Ring Terminals)

1. On the harness cable (P/N 115-0230-003), locate the LEFT SOLENOID/TRANSDUCER/AMPLIFIER
connector and connect it to Port 4A on the AutoBoom valve.
2. Connect the RIGHT SOLENOID/TRANSDUCER/AMPLIFIER connector to Port 4B on the AutoBoom valve.
3. Cut the connector off the cable labeled LEFT SOLENOID SENSE UP, directly below the connector.
4. Splice a ring-terminal to the end of the cable.
5. Connect the ring terminal to the signal-side of the left tilt up coil.
6. Cut the connector off the unlabeled LEFT SOLENOID SENSE cable, directly below the connector.
7. Splice a ring-terminal to the end of the cable.
8. Connect the ring terminal to the signal-side of the left tilt down coil.
9. Cut the connector off the cable labeled RIGHT SOLENOID SENSE UP, directly below the connector.
10. Splice a ring-terminal to the end of the cable.
11. Connect the ring terminal to the signal-side of the right tilt up coil.
12. Cut the connector off the unlabeled RIGHT SOLENOID SENSE cable, directly below the connector.
13. Splice a ring-terminal to the end of the cable.
14. Connect the ring terminal to the signal-side of the right tilt down coil.
Connect the Harness Cable to the Controller Cable
1. Route the AutoBoom harness cable (P/N 115-0230-003) toward the machine’s cab.
2. Connect the harness cable to the controller cable (P/N 115-0230-002).
3. Tighten the connector screw cap to secure the connection.
Note: Be sure to allow enough slack in the harness cable to allow for boom racking.
