ANOMALIES RELATED TO THE PLUMBING CIRCUIT
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDY
No increase in
temperature with
stove in operation
1. Incorrect combustion adjustment.
2. Boiler / system dirty.
3. Insufficient stove power.
4. Poor pellet quality
1. Check recipe and parameters.
2. Check and clean the boiler.
3. Check that the stove is properly sized
for the requirements of the system.
4. Use quality pellets.
Condensation in
boiler
1. Incorrect temperature setting.
2. Insufficient fuel consumption.
1. Set the stove to a higher
temperature.
2. Check the recipe and/or technical
parameters.
Radiators cold 1. Room thermostat (local or remote)
set too low. If remote thermostat,
check if it is defective.
2. Circulator does not run because
blocked.
3. Circulator does not run.
4. Radiators have air in them
1. Set to higher temperature or
replace. (if remote)
2. Free up the circulator by removing
the plug and turning the shaft with a
screwdriver.
3. Check the electrical connections of
the circulator; replace if necessary.
4. Vent the radiators
High variability of
temperature of
domestic hot water
1. Water flow rate too low. 1. Increase the water flow rate
(minimum 3 litres per minute)
Little domestic hot
water is provided
1. Insufficient mains pressure
2. Tap or mixer clogged with limescale
