b) Commissioning
The operating instructions for the remote control system are included separately. Always observe all safety
information included in it as well as any other information!
• Onlyusesuitabledrivebatteriesforthevehicle.Neveroperatethespeedcontrollerwithamainsadapter,noteven
for test purposes.
 Duetotheconstructionofthevehicle,twoidentical-buildLiPorechargeabledrivingbatterieswith2cells
each (rated voltage 7.4 V) (not enclosed, can be ordered separately) must be inserted to maintain the best
centreofgravity.AmatchingY-rechargeablebatteryadapterisenclosedwiththevehicleatdelivery.
Use of driving batteries with more cells, will damage the speed controller; loss of warranty/guarantee!
 Operationofthevehiclewithasingle4-cellLiPodrivingbatteryispossible,butnotrecommended,sincethis
willrelocatethecentreofgravityofthevehicletotheleftorrightsideandinuencethedrivingconductvery
negatively.
• Alwaysswitchonthetransmitterrstwhentakingthevehicleintooperation.Onlythenmustthevehicle‘sdrive
battery be connected with the speed controller and the speed controller switched on. Otherwise, the vehicle may
show unpredictable responses!
Proceed as follows:
Place the vehicle on an appropriate support before connecting the drive battery so that the wheels can turn
freely.
Check the position of the on/off switch of the speed controller and place it in the „OFF“ position (switched
off).
Switch on the transmitter if you haven’t done it already. Check its function (e.g. operation display of the
transmitter).
Put the trimming for the throttle/brake function at the transmitter into the centre position.
Insert the two driving batteries into the holder at the vehicle and fasten them. Now connect the two 2-cell
LiPodrivingbatteriestothespeedcontrollerviatheenclosedY-rechargeablebatteryadapter.
Hold the vehicle, but do not reach into the drive unit. There is a risk of serious injury! Never hold the vehicle
by its wheels!
Only then switch on the speed controller (switch position e.g. labelled „ON“). Wait for a few seconds until the
speedcontrollerhascompleteditsself-testandtheorangeLEDatthespeedcontrollerlightsup.
• Checkthatthevehiclereactstoremotecontrolcommandsasexpected(steeringanddrive)beforetakingitfromthe
support and placing it on the ground with its wheels.
The vehicle is operational only now.
c) Driving the Vehicle
• Improperoperationmaycauseseriousinjuryandpropertydamage!Onlydrivewiththemodeldirectlyinview.This
is why you shouldn’t drive at night.
• Onlydrivewhenyourabilitytoreactisunrestricted.Exhaustionortheinuenceofalcoholormedicationcancause
incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Pleasenotethatthismodelvehiclemustnotbedrivenonpublicroads,placesorstreets.Alsodonotoperateiton
privategroundswithouttheowner‘spermission.
