i) Stopping the Vehicle
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Letgoofthethrottle/brakeleveronthetransmittersothatitgoesintoneutralposition,andletthevehiclerunout.
• Oncethevehicleisstationary,switchoffthespeedcontroller(forswitchpositionseegureinchapter9.f).
Never touch the wheels or the drive mechanism, and make sure you do not move the throttle/brake lever at
the transmitter!
• Disconnectbothdrivebatteriesfromthespeedcontroller.Disconnecttheconnectionscompletely.
• Itisonlynowthatthetransmittermaybeturnedoff.
Attention!
The motor, the speed controller and the drive batteries grow hot during operation! Do not touch these parts
immediately after operation. Danger of burns!
j) Fail-Safe Function of the Speed Controller
The speed controller has an integrated fail safe function.
If the transmitter signal fails (or if it has been forgotten to switch on the transmitter before the speed controller) the
speed controller deactivates the motor for reasons of safety.
TheLEDinthespeedcontrollerthenemitsfastashesandthemotorgeneratesasoundsignaleverysecond(the
sound signal is generated by a brief activation of the motor).
