10. Programing the Speed Controller
a) Programming of Full Throttle and Neutral Positions
If the speed controller does not react correctly to the transmitter, set the trim for the driving function correct-
ly.
If this does not help any, reprogram the full throttle positions for forward and reverse driving and the neutral
position.
• Switchoffthespeedcontrollernow(switchposition„OFF“).
• Placethevehicleonanappropriatesurfacesothatthewheelscanturnfreely.
• Switchonthetransmitterandleavethethrottle/brakeinthecentreposition(neutralposition).Putthetrimmingfor
driving into the centre position.
• Movethethrottle/brakeleverintofullthrottleforforwarddriving(pullthethrottleallthewaytowardsthehandle)and
keep it there.
• Switchonthespeedcontrollerwiththeon/offswitch(switchposition„ON“;keepthethrottle/brakeleverinthethrottle
position.
The motor now emits fast sound signals (they are generated by the brief activation of the motor by the speed cont-
roller)andtheLEDatthespeedcontrollerashes.
 WaituntiltheLEDatthespeedcontrollerashesgreenquicklyandthemotoremitsalongbeep(about1second).
The full throttle position for forward driving is stored.
• TheLEDatthespeedcontrollerwillnowashred.Themotorwillemitquicksoundsignalsagain.
Move the throttle/brake lever into full throttle for reverse driving (push the throttle away from the handle all the way)
and keep it there.
 WaituntiltheLEDatthespeedcontrollerashesredquicklyandthemotoremitsalongbeep(about1second).The
full throttle position for reverse driving is stored.
• TheLEDatthespeedcontrollerwillnowashyellow.Themotorwillemitfastsoundsignalsagain.
Release the throttle/brake so that it is in the neutral position. Do not move it.
 WaituntiltheLEDatthespeedcontrollerashesyellowquicklyandthemotoremitsalongbeep(about1second).
The neutral position is now saved.
• WaitforafewsecondsuntiltheyellowLEDremainslit.
Then the speed controller is ready for operation with the new programming.
