9. Commissioning
a) Remove Car Body
Removethesafetyclipsofthecarbodyrstandthenliftitfromthechassis.
There is a transparent dust protection cover under the car body. It is also attached to the chassis with safety clips.
b) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
If the aerial cable does not protrude from the receiver box,
rstloosenthefourscrewsofthereceiverboxlidandtake
it off.
Guide the aerial cable of the receiver through the opening
in the lid.
Wrap the receiver, e.g. with a little foam to protect it from
vibration.
Re-attach the lid and screw it tight.
Push the aerial cable through the aerial tube and plug it into
the corresponding holder in the lid of the receiver box; see
arrowinthegure.
Never shorten the aerial cable; this reduces the range extremely!
c) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries into the Transmitter
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Taking the Transmitter into Operation
Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving functions into the centre positions.
Ifthetransmitterhasadualratefunction,deactivateitorsetittounlimitedsteeringdeection.
