e) Inserting the Two Drive Batteries into the Vehicle
Attention!
The drive batteries must not be connected to the speed controller yet. First switch on the transmitter, see
chapter 9. c) and d).
Important!
 Duetotheconstructionofthevehicle,twosame-buildLiPorechargeabledrivingbatterieswith2cellseach
(rated voltage 7.4 V) (not enclosed, can be ordered separately) must be inserted to maintain the best centre
ofgravity.AmatchingY-rechargeablebatteryadapterisenclosedinthevehicle‘sdelivery.
If using driving batteries with more cells, the speed controller will be damaged; loss of warranty/guarantee!
 Operationofthevehiclewithasingle4-cellLiPodrivingbattersispossible,butnotrecommended,since
thiswillrelocatethecentreofgravityofthevehicletotheleftorrightsideandinuencethedrivingconduct
strongly negatively. The hook-and-loop tapes of the battery holders are also only designed for 2-cell rechar-
geable batteries.
Remove the hook-and-loop tapes of the two battery holders at the left and right of the vehicle. Place the two drive
batteries in the battery holders and fasten them with the two hook-and-loop tapes. Tighten the hook-and-loop tapes
to secure the drive batteries.
f) Connecting the Drive battery to the Speed Controller
First switch on the transmitter, as described in chapters 9.
c) and d).
Switch off the speed controller.
The on/off switch must be put in the position „OFF“ for this;
observe the labelling next to the switch.
To prevent sudden start-up of the wheels and therefore uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the trim-
ming for the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable support (or assembly stand), so that
the wheels can turn freely in case of an error.
Do not reach into the drive. Do not hold the wheels.
NowconnectthetwodrivingbatteriestothespeedcontrollerviatheenclosedY-rechargeablebatteryadapter.The
plugs are each protected against polarity reversal.
