Modem configuration
The internal modem requires the jumper installed on the RT580 lid board to assign the serial PPP
port to the internal modem and therefore disables the serial PPP port coming out of the NET
connector.
Define a window for external modem power
The WN data type is used to define up to 10 different time windows in which an external modem
is supplied power.

Define a delay time to initialize a modem
The DT data type is used to define the delay time between turning on external power and trying
to talk to the modem (regardless of whether it is an internal or external modem). If the internal
modem is used, or no modem is attached, the init string is not sent.
