ACTIVATING SERVICES (3/3)
The manufacturer takes all the nec-
essary precautions to ensure that
your personal data is processed in
total security.
Under the applicable regulation, the
customer is entitled to rights over their
personal data: including the right to
access, correct and delete (forget) their
data.
For further information on data pro-
cessing conditions and customer right
claiming procedures, please consult
the Renault personal data protection
policy on the manufacturer’s site, or re-
quest a printed paper version.
Data protection
Data about you are collected via your
vehicle. Data is processed by the man-
ufacturer, by members of its network
and other entities of the Renault group,
whose details are available on the man-
ufacturer’s website in accordance with
the current regulation.
Your personal data can be used to:
– manage initial interactions;
– manage the business relationship;
– manage the services provided by the
customer’s connected vehicle and
on-board apps;
– conduct studies and analyses;
– manage Renault group marketing
operations.
The customer is also entitled to oppose
the processing of their personal data,
especially if they are used for sales
prospecting or profiling.
Expiry of the services
The services are activated for a limited
period. Once this has elapsed, the ser-
vices cease to work. To reactivate the
services, please consult the paragraph
entitled “Purchasing and renewing ser-
vices”.
