6.8 DRUM CHARGE
6.8.1 OVERVIEW
This copier uses a drum charge roller to charge the drum. The drum charge roller [A]
always contacts the surface of the drum [B] to give it a negative charge of –900V.
The high voltage supply board gives a negative dc voltage to the drum charge roller
through the spring [C] and terminal plate [D].
