Setting Protection
You can protect images to prevent them from being deleted accidentally.
Caution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• If you select [Format] in the [Setup] menu, protected images are also deleted.
Setting Protection for One File
1 Display the image to protect in playback mode, and then press
the MENU/OK button.
The [Playback] menu appears.
2 Select [Protect], and then press the $ button.
3 Press the !" buttons to select
[1 File].
You can change the image with the #$ but-
tons.
4 Press the MENU/OK button.
Protection is set and the symbol appears on
the playback screen.
Performing the same operation for the pro-
tected image cancels protection.
Setting/Canceling Protection for All Files
1 Select [Protect] in the [Playback] menu, and then press the $
button.
2 Select [Select All] or [Cancel All], and then press the MENU/OK
button.
