14. Put a sheet of paper on a level surface and place the development unit on it.
This prevents foreign material from getting on the sleeve rollers.
15. Remove the Upper Case [A] of the Development Unit (
x 4, x 3).
• Slightly bend the Upper Case to Development Roller side (Direction ① shown in a
following picture) and release the center boss.
• To remove the upper case, hold the edges of the case as shown and lift up the case. This
will release the bosses on both ends of the case.
• Side the floating upper case to back side (gear side) and remove the upper case.
